ABOUT
The project reimagines the area in front of the gastrobar on Bd. Moscova 5 as a small neighborhood square—open, accessible, and directly connected to the rhythm of the street. The space is conceived freely, with fluid forms, seating areas, green insertions, and paths that invite pause, social interaction, or spontaneous encounters.
The result is a small urban micro-square that activates the street frontage and offers residents an informal outdoor space, functioning both as an extension of the venue and as a community urban space.

Proiectul reimaginează zona din fața gastrobarului de pe Bd. Moscova 5 ca un mic scuar de cartier, deschis și accesibil, conectat direct la ritmul străzii. Spațiul este conceput liber, cu forme fluide, zone de șezut, inserții verzi și trasee care invită la pauză, socializare sau întâlniri spontane.
Rezultatul este o micro-piațetă urbană care activează frontul stradal și oferă locuitorilor un spațiu informal de petrecere a timpului în aer liber, funcționând atât ca extensie a localului, cât și ca spațiu urban pentru comunitate.

DESIGN
EXTERIOR
The square is organized on an almost flat site, where minimal topography subtly shapes the space and creates natural areas for seating and circulation. Access is facilitated by a gently sloped ramp, and the space is designed to be inclusive and welcoming for all ages. A slide for children and a drinking fountain with a lower level for dogs complete the infrastructure of this small community space.

Scuarul este organizat pe un teren aproape plat, unde un relief minim modelează discret spațiul și generează zone naturale de ședere și circulație. Accesul este facilitat printr-o rampă lentă, iar spațiul este gândit incluziv și prietenos pentru toate vârstele. Un tobogan pentru copii și o fântână de apă potabilă cu nivel dedicat pentru câini completează infrastructura acestui mic spațiu comunitar.
A corten steel band outlines the green area and introduces a strong material element that discreetly structures the overall composition. Carefully selected vegetation and ambient lighting activate the space throughout the day and evening, keeping the square lively and usable.

O bandă din oțel corten conturează zona verde și introduce un element material puternic, care structurează discret ansamblul. Vegetația atent aleasă și iluminatul ambiental activează spațiul pe tot parcursul zilei și al serii, menținând scuarul viu și utilizabil.
INTERIOR
The interior is conceived as a continuation of the urban experience, but within a more focused atmosphere. The entrance is bright and oriented toward the street, where the cashier and serving area is complemented by a display filled with potatoes—the central ingredient of the gastronomic concept.

Interiorul este conceput ca o continuare a experienței urbane, într-o atmosferă mai concentrată. Intrarea este luminoasă și orientată către stradă, unde zona de casierie și servire este completată de o vitrină plină cu cartofi — ingredientul central al conceptului gastronomic.
The interior space is organized into two distinct scenarios: a beer hall equipped with a tap station for 6–8 types of beer, and a cinematheque where a screen projects thematic content ranging from animation to classic films.

Spațiul interior este organizat în două scenarii distincte: o sală de bere, dotată cu o stație pentru 6–8 sorturi de bere, și o cinematecă, unde un ecran proiectează conținut tematic, de la animație la filme clasice.
The finishes follow a loft-style aesthetic: exposed concrete, brick, preserved fragments of the existing masonry, and visible installations. Raw materiality becomes the main element of expression, emphasizing texture and spatial character.

Finisajele urmează o estetică de tip loft: beton aparent, cărămidă, fragmente de zidărie păstrate din structura existentă și instalații expuse. Materialitatea brută devine principalul element de expresie, punând accent pe textură și spațialitate.
